MatchWornShirt, the world's largest match-worn memorabilia auction platform, has announced the launch of an exclusive Legend Collection belonging to former **Manchester United** physio Rod Thornley.
The collection features match-worn, match-issued and match-prepared shirts from some of the most iconic names of the Class of 92, including David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Nicky Butt.
When asked who out of the Class of ‘92 would be his choice in the current Manchester United team, **Rod Thornley commented**: _"I'd have to say Scholesy, I just loved him. He was brilliant. Even the superstars, Zidane, Xavi alike said that he was the best they ever played against. They know what they're talking about."_
As with all of MatchWornShirt's Legends Collections, these shirts were gathered by Rod across his years working alongside the squad, and MWS are proud to give fans and collectors the chance to own one-of-a-kind shirts from one of football's most celebrated generations.
The auction set, named Class of ‘92, will run from Wednesday 5 August at 18:00 to Wednesday 12 August at 16:00. This is part of Rod’s multiple auctions across MWS of his collection.

On the group in the youth team as a whole and how they compare to other youth teams in history, Rod said: _"I think it's gotta be up there, one of the best youth teams ever for what they produced, definitely. The amount of players that came through that system all at the same time, I mean, there's nothing like it since_."
