Man Utd learn £50m Tyler Adams price as midfielder keen on move
Tyler Adams would reportedly be keen on joining Manchester United as Michael Carrick considers whether to add a third midfielder before the transfer window closes.
United have already strengthened the position with Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, but Carrick remains open to another addition.
Ben Jacobs has now named Adams among the three most viable options alongside Carlos Baleba and Sander Berge. According to Football365, relaying Jacobs’ appearance on The United Stand, Bournemouth would consider selling the United States international for around £50million.
Crucially, Jacobs also claims Adams would be keen on making the move to Old Trafford.

Adams has been on United’s radar before, but the latest update gives Carrick a clearer picture of what a deal could require.
The reported £50m valuation is higher than some previous suggestions of around £35m. Bournemouth are therefore in a strong negotiating position and United must decide whether Adams represents sufficient value.
Carrick’s midfield plans also remain fluid.
ReadManUtd explained on Wednesday how United are trying to make more connected recruitment decisions, rather than spending heavily simply because an opportunity becomes available.
That approach could become even more important following Carlos Baleba’s ankle ligament injury. The Brighton midfielder had remained under consideration, but he is now expected to spend time on the sidelines.
Adams offers something different to Santos and Tielemans. His Premier League experience, mobility and defensive work could provide greater protection behind United’s more progressive midfielders.
There is no indication that United have opened formal talks with Bournemouth.
However, knowing that Adams would reportedly welcome the move leaves Carrick with another attainable option should United decide their remaining budget is best spent in midfield.
