Marcus Rashford is set to rejoin Manchester United without a squad number.
When Matheus Cunha was signed by Manchester United, he was handed the iconic No.10 shirt previously worn by Marcus Rashford.
Now, Rashford is set to return to United after Barcelona refused the buy option in his loan deal.
But Rashford’s shirt number has become an intriguing debate because Cunha continues to wear the No.10 and so the Carrington graduate will need another solution.

Marcus Rashford can take Joshua Zirkzee’s No.11 shirt
While on loan, Rashford wore No.14 at Barcelona and that looked the most likely number for him to take at United.
But with reports that Zirkzee could leave United on loan to Juventus, another avenue has now opened.
Zirkzee wears the No.11 shirt at United, previously worn by club legend Ryan Giggs on the left wing.
Rashford is competing for the starting spot on the left side of United’s attack, and now he could inherit Giggs’ old number.
Other options for Marcus Rashford’s shirt number
Cunha is set to continue with the No.10 shirt, and Benjamin Sesko could take the vacant No.9, meaning the options for Rashford are narrow.

These are the four most likely options for Rashford to consider. Even his old No.39 shirt has now been snapped up by Tyler Fletcher.
With United chasing a 21st league title, Rashford could follow a similar route that Robin van Persie took when he wore the No.20 and led the Red Devils to Premier League glory.
