Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has taken to social media on Thursday evening, to send a message the way of the club’s supporters. This of course comes fresh off the Brazilian finally committing his long-term future to Los Blancos.

Vinícius’ name has dominated the headlines in Spain’s capital over the course of the day to date. Amid Premier League champions Arsenal’s ongoing efforts to lure him to England, the 26-year-old put any remaining chatter surrounding his plans for the future to bed.

Following a fresh round of negotiations with Real Madrid earlier this week, Vinícius has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract, through the summer of 2032.

This of course means that the explosive winger will spend the prime years of his career plying his trade in the famed white of Los Merengues.

And Vinícius for his part appears to be delighted with this development…

Taking to his official Instagram account late this evening, the attacker unveiled a photo of himself kissing the Real Madrid badge, alongside the caption:

‘Eight years at the Bernabeu are too short… 6 more years and forever!’
