Manchester United continue their pre-season preparations this weekend as Michael Carrick leads the club into the fourth fixture of the summer ahead of his first full campaign in charge.

The Reds have already faced Wrexham, Rosenborg, and Atletico Madrid, with Bryan Mbeumo's brace against the Spanish side and an impressive performance from Mason Mount providing encouraging signs ahead of the new season.

Next on the agenda is the toughest test of United's summer schedule, with the squad travelling to Nya Ullevi in Göteborg, Sweden, to take on reigning Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.

After facing the French champions, United will head to Dublin for a clash with Leeds United before concluding their pre-season campaign against Rúben Amorim's AC Milan in Wroclaw, Poland.

With the clash against PSG coming on Saturday afternoon, Roundtable have provided all of the details you need to follow the match in the article below.

United vs PSG: Date, kick-off time, venue

Having lost the opening tie against Wrexham 1-0, United have started to find good form in pre-season, winning their tie against Rosenborg 5-0 and coming from behind to beat Atletico Madrid 2-1.

United have only ever met PSG four times in competitive fixtures, with both sides winning twice. Interestingly, all four of the fixtures have seen the away side win – PSG won 2-0 at Old Trafford in February 2019 and 3-1 in December 2020.

United, on the other hand, have beaten PSG twice in Paris, with a famous 3-1 win over them in March 2019 and a 2-1 victory in October 2020.

This game comes on Saturday, 8 August, and kick-off is at 16:00 BST. The game will be played at Nya Ullevi in Göteborg, Sweden.

United vs PSG: Latest team news

For United, the game could see as many as six first-team stars play their opening minutes of pre-season following their respective exploits at the 2026 World Cup in North America.

Belgian duo Senne Lammens and new signing Youri Tielemans entered Carrington last week but did not play against Atletico as the game came too soon, but both are expected to be involved against PSG.

Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, and Matheus Cunha returned to the club on Monday and have enjoyed a full week's training, and are all expected to be handed minutes on Saturday afternoon.

Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, and LIsandro Martínez are due to return next week and join the players for their training camp in Ireland, while new goalkeeper signing Karl Darlow may train with the group as he recovers from a minor procedure.

Matthijs de Ligt will remain sidelined until early October after undergoing back surgery, although may still travel with the squad to Ireland to remain part of the group.
