Manchester United are reported to have agreed a new Betway deal, with the betting brand set to become the club’s training-kit sponsor. The commercial arrangement, reported on Friday, would hand the Red Devils another partner at Old Trafford as the Glazers and Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS look to grow off-pitch revenue ahead of the 2026–27 season. Why the Betway deal matters
With gambling firms no longer permitted on the front of Premier League shirts, training wear has become the route back in for betting brands — and the United arrangement is described as compliant with the league’s tightened rules. For a club that leans heavily on commercial income, adding a name to Michael Carrick’s training-ground kit is another piece of the off-pitch jigsaw under chief executive Omar Berrada.
The move fits a wider pattern in United’s busy summer, which has already brought commercial noise alongside a reshaped squad. Financial terms of the reported Betway agreement were not detailed in the coverage seen, and United have yet to publish a headline figure or an official announcement.
The branding is expected to appear on United’s training kit through the coming campaign, with the club continuing to chase new partners as the Premier League season kicks off away at Hull City on 22 August.
