Manchester United are set to take on Paris Saint-Germain in their fourth friendly match in pre-season. Michael Carrick has named his squad for the trip to Gothenburg.
The Reds are back in action against PSG at the Ullevi Stadium on Saturday, a week on from beating Atletico Madrid 2-1 in Stockholm.
It’s been a positive 2026 pre-season tour for Manchester United, with two wins from their first three games and three fixtures left to play.
United head coach Michael Carrick will aim to give more minutes to star players, helping them step up preparations ahead of the competitive campaign, as well as reintroducing some familiar faces in the line-up.

Manchester United squad to take on PSG
PSG suffered defeat against Mallorca in the lead-up to their clash with United, but that doesn’t change the fact that Carrick’s side will be tested against the best team in Europe right now.
Here is the full 22-player United squad travelling to Gothenburg for the match;
Goalkeepers: Tom Heaton, Dermot Mee, Fred Heath.
Defenders: Harry Amass, Dan Armer, Diogo Dalot, Ayden Heaven, Harry Maguire, Noussair Mazraoui, Luke Shaw, Leny Yoro.
Midfielders: Bruno Fernandes, Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, Mason Mount, Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, Patrick DorguForwards: Amad, Shea Lacey, Bryan Mbeumo, Joshua Zirkzee.
Matheus Cunha and Senne Lammens are both absent due to illness.
There is still no Benjamin Sesko.
JJ Gabriel, Ethan Williams, Jaydan Kamason and Jim Thwaites drop out after the Atletico game.

Bruno Fernandes returns after disappointing 2026 World Cup
The Premier League season is under three weeks away from kicking off, but United’s game against PSG gives Carrick a chance to bring back some of the biggest hitters to the starting line-up.
Portugal disappointed at the 2026 World Cup, and Bruno Fernandes will be looking to get over that with another strong campaign in a United shirt.
Fernandes was voted Premier League Player of the Year last season, recording a record number of assists (21) for a player in a single season.
The return of Fernandes will come as a lift for everyone in the dressing room.
Fernandes was joined in the squad by fellow returnees Dalot and Mazraoui. That means Carrick will have more first-team players to select from for the final three games of the pre-season tour this summer.
