Real Madrid have announced that Franco Mastantuono will play the 2026-27 season for Fiorentina on a loan deal which will expire next summer.

This is a regular loan deal with no other clauses involved. Fiorentina will not have an option to buy the player or extend the loan deal, which means that the attacker will return to the Spanish capital next summer.
Real Madrid will be hoping to see significant progress from Mastantuono. The Argentinian player struggled during his debut season in Madrid and definitely needs a relevant role and significant minutes in order to actually compete for a starting spot next year.
