Another team interested in the services of six-time NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan has emerged.
According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Denver Nuggets are interested in signing DeRozan to a minimum contract.
"To this point, DeRozan has been assessing the market for teams with part of or all of their mid-level exception available," Siegel added.
"The Heat, who have $8.9 million remaining in their MLE, are a team DeRozan would have high interest in joining if they offered him this remaining amount. It doesn't appear as if DeRozan wants to take a minimum contract after being waived by the Kings."
Despite an interesting pairing with Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets' financial limits make this deal hard to imagine.

DeMar DeRozan is no longer the explosive star who once led the Toronto Raptors, but he remains one of the NBA's most reliable half-court scorers.
Across 17 seasons, DeRozan has earned six All-Star selections and climbed into the top 20 on the league's all-time scoring list. Last season, he still averaged 18.4 points and 4.1 assists while shooting nearly 50% from the field.
His game has aged well because it relies on footwork, strength, mid-range scoring, foul drawing, and decision-making rather than pure athleticism. A contender could use him as a secondary creator, bench scorer, and late-game option when offensive possessions break down.
The fit will matter because DeRozan offers limited three-point shooting and needs spacing around him. He should no longer be expected to carry an offense, but in the right role, he can still help a strong team win.
