Arsenal have been advised to sign either Chelsea winger Pedro Neto or Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford as alternatives to Vinicius Junior.
The Gunners are looking at other options now after Vini Jr ended up signing a new contract with Real Madrid, and it seems a few names are in the frame.
We’ve reported on Arsenal looking into Ferran Torres as a possibility, while some pundits are now coming up with suggestions of their own.
One of those is former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere, who believes Chelsea ace Neto could be a “great option” for his old club to consider.

Arsenal urged to sign Pedro Neto
Speaking to the Metro, Aliadiere explained why he could see Neto being ideal for Mikel Arteta’s side.
“Pedro Neto could be a great option. He’s played in the Premier League for many years, is established, knows the league, a very, very good player,” Aliadiere said.
“And don’t forget, we’ve already signed a left winger with Christos Tzolis. He’s a left winger, so you’re just adding top talent.”

Chelsea (2024-2026) 103 19
Portugal (2020-2026) 30 3
Neto hasn’t exactly set the world alight at Chelsea, but the Portugal international shone at former club Wolves and might fit in better at a generally stronger club like Arsenal.
It’s worth noting that Neto has been targeted by Manchester City, so it remains to be seen if Arsenal still have a chance to compete for the 26-year-old.
Marcus Rashford – another good option for Arsenal?
Meanwhile, Michael Owen has also weighed in with his thoughts on a possible Arsenal signing in attack.
The former Liverpool striker has admitted he didn’t think Arsenal realistically had a chance of signing Vinicius, but he could see Rashford being a decent alternative.
“I didn’t see Vinicius Junior to Arsenal happening, but a move for someone like Rashford would make sense,” Owen told the Metro.

“This would be a move I can see happening and makes sense as Arsenal are looking for a left-sided striker.
“He would fit well into Arteta’s plans and work well with the rest of the squad they have. So I can see this happening if Arsenal were to approach Manchester United.”

Rashford has had a fine career for club and country, even if he’s also had his recent struggles at Man Utd in recent times.
The England international impressed on loan at Barcelona last season, though, so could surely be worth considering for Arsenal if they can’t find anyone else.
