Another former LeBron James teammate has thrown his name into the mix for a potential reunion with the 41-year-old star on the Philadelphia 76ers.
Philadelphia-born veteran forward Markieff Morris expressed interest in joining the Sixers after reports emerged that Kevin Love also wants to reunite with James in Philadelphia.
"Shiddd if it's anybody getting that last Vet roster spot it's gonna be me! Philly raised!" Morris wrote on X while reacting to the news surrounding Love.
Morris already won title alongside LeBron
Morris previously played alongside James with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2020 to 2021.
He joined the Lakers midway through the 2019-20 campaign and immediately became part of their championship rotation inside the Orlando bubble.
The veteran forward appeared in all 21 playoff games during Los Angeles' title run, averaging 5.9 points and 3.0 rebounds while giving the Lakers another physical frontcourt option who could also stretch the floor.

Morris remained with the Lakers for the 2020-21 season before leaving the franchise the following offseason.
The two later reunited in Los Angeles in February 2025, when Morris was sent to the Lakers alongside Luka Doncic and Maxi Kleber in the blockbuster trade that moved Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks.
Morris appeared in eight games for the Lakers after the trade, averaging 5.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 15.5 minutes per game.
Homecoming opportunity in Philadelphia
A move to the 76ers would reunite Morris with James once again after the two most recently played together with the Lakers in 2025.
It would also represent a homecoming for the 36-year-old, who was born and raised in Philadelphia.
Morris has spent more than a decade in the NBA and has also suited up for the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks.
With Philadelphia's final veteran roster spots drawing interest, Morris has now publicly made it clear that he would like to be considered.
