Man Utd risk missing €50m target as Premier League rivals make move
Manchester United face a fresh decision over Lamine Camara after Crystal Palace submitted a concrete offer for the Monaco midfielder.
The latest Man Utd transfer news also has Nottingham Forest preparing a bid, while United and Liverpool remain interested.
Michael Carrick has already added Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos this summer, but United have continued assessing another midfielder capable of adding energy and defensive strength.
That search could now require action if they want Camara.

Man Utd transfer news: United wait as Palace make move
Foot Mercato’s fresh Lamine Camara report says Crystal Palace have submitted an offer directly to Monaco, while Nottingham Forest are close to making an official proposal of their own.
Monaco are demanding €50million for the Senegal international and are unwilling to reduce that valuation.
United and Liverpool are described as remaining “in the wings”, with both clubs monitoring developments rather than making concrete moves at this stage. Camara and his representatives are understood to be prioritising the best sporting project before making a decision.
United can afford some patience after rebuilding Carrick’s midfield, with ReadManUtd’s analysis of the new Manchester United midfield looking at how Tielemans and Santos could operate alongside Bruno Fernandes.
Camara would offer another profile.
The 22-year-old made 30 appearances for Monaco last season, scoring once and providing four assists. His contract runs until 2029, leaving Monaco in a strong negotiating position.
United have not submitted a bid and there is no suggestion negotiations are advanced.
However, Palace making the first concrete move and Forest preparing to follow increases the pressure on United if Camara remains high on their midfield shortlist.
Waiting may still be deliberate.
It also carries the risk of allowing a €50m target to move elsewhere before United decide to act.
