London – Saba: Manchester United announced on Saturday that Czech goalkeeper Radek Vítek has completed a permanent transfer to English Championship club Middlesbrough. The 22-year-old joined Manchester United in 2020 from Czech side Sigma Olomouc and progressed through the club’s ranks before spending time on loan to gain experience. Manchester United is also reshaping their goalkeeping options ahead of the new Premier League season, having extended Tom Heaton’s contract for one year and signed Welsh goalkeeper Karl Darlow until June 2028, with an option to extend. Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır has joined Spanish side Celta Vigo on loan.
