Ben Simmons appears to be teasing a major push to fulfill his plans of an NBA comeback.
On Instagram, the former NBA star sparked plenty of reactions with his latest post, which featured a photo of him inside a basketball gym.
Simmons said he is proud of where he stands and is “ready for wherever this goes” in the caption.
"I wouldn't change the story," Simmons wrote. "The highs, the lows, the pain, the time, the lessons. I embrace all of it. Every chapter built something in me that I couldn't have built any other way. Grateful for where I've been. Proud of where I stand. Ready for wherever this goes."
Will Ben Simmons land an NBA comeback?
Ben Simmons last played in the NBA in 2024-25 as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
The former NBA star did not suit up this past 2025-26 NBA season. Despite inactivity, he achieved success off the court, as his South Florida Sails professional fishing team won the Sport Fishing Championship tournament last May.
Simmons endured injuries and reported mental health issues in recent years. But before executing a dramatic breakup with the Philadelphia 76ers, he hammered himself as an all-around star.
The former No. 1 pick is a three-time All-Star, two-time All-Defensive Team member, one All-NBA team member, and the 2017-18 Rookie of the Year recipient.
While Simmons was recently linked to a potential reunion with the Sixers, an NBA insider dismissed the idea due to Philly's restricted cap situation.
