NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal is putting his all into his Dunkman League as a legitimate avenue for those who master the art of dunking to cash in on their talents. It's a natural fit for one of the most explosive aerial artists in the game, Mac McClung.
On Tuesday, McClung wowed the fans in Atlanta with a reverse dunk after jumping over Draymond Green's car, per TNT Sports.
McClung, 27, is a three-time NBA dunk champion. He has bounced around the NBA since 2021 when he went undrafted. McClung has played for the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, and Indiana Pacers.
RETURN OF THE MAC 😤
3x NBA dunk champion Mac McClung flies over a car to throw down a reverse jam that electrifies the crowd at Shaq's Dunkman League!
Additionally, McClung has had stints in the NBA G League and is currently playing for Bàsquet Girona in Spain. McClung is coming off a stint with the Windy City Bulls, the G League affiliate for the Bulls. In the process, McClung won his second G League MVP.
Leaping over vehicles has become a staple for McClung's ability to cement his place among the best high flyers in the game. Among his other signature moves are a 540-degree spin, double pump “hezi”, and a reverse dunk between both legs.
Plus, McClung won three straight dunk contests and is the only NBA player to do so.
In April, Shaq started the Dunkman League to provide 24 dunkers with the chance to win $500,000. The league is broken up into four stages (Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D).
McClung completed the final stage on Tuesday before the championship round commences on August 22.
