After an impressive rookie season with the San Antonio Spurs, Dylan Harper has officially entered the NBA 2K27 discussion. According to the latest rating published, Harper is now an 85 overall in NBA 2K27.
Interestingly, the rating now ranks him ahead of his Spurs teammate De'Aaron Fox and Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels. Additionally, Tyler Herro and Rudy Gobert are also behind the San Antonio sophomore in NBA 2K27 ratings. The ascent in his rating comes after a phenomenal postseason where he averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists while shooting a remarkable 52.5% from the field.

Heading into season two, San Antonio fans must have huge expectations of him. The New Jersey-born shooting guard is arguably the best young guard any top championship contender team would want. Given the Spurs' roster composition, he fits rightly in the game plan alongside franchise cornerstone Victor Wembanyama.
It is about time Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson makes the right move and puts Harper in the starting lineup this coming NBA season. The Rutgers alum is also a better shooter among the other options the Spurs currently have. Alongside Fox, he checks all the boxes the team needs to play more offensively.
And while the new season is on the way, grooming him just right during training camp is a better bet for coach Johnson. Unlike other top names in the same rookie class, like Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel, Harper had a different kind of role to play throughout the season. Starting just four games for the Spurs during the regular season, he played a good part coming off the bench.
