The California Highway Patrol was in pursuit of a possible reckless driver near downtown Los Angeles.
The LA County Sheriff's Department started the chase near East LA. The suspect drove around the CA-60 Freeway through the San Gabriel Valley before entering downtown.
The driver continued into the University Park area before ditching the car in a neighborhood.
