Former NBA defensive specialist Patrick Beverley is continuing his professional career in Europe.
Boulazac Basket Dordogne have officially announced the signing of the 38-year-old guard for the 2026-27 season.
The French club adds a highly experienced veteran who spent 12 seasons in the NBA and played more than 700 games across the regular season and playoffs.
Beverley continues European career in France
The three-time NBA All-Defensive Team selection now continues his career in Europe after spending last few seasons playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv and PAOK Thessaloniki.
Beverley spent the 2025-26 season with PAOK, averaging 7.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists in eight Greek League regular-season appearances.
He also produced 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists across nine FIBA Europe Cup games, helping PAOK reach the competition's final.
Selected with the 42nd overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, Beverley initially started his career in Europe, suiting up for Dnipro, Olympiacos, and Spartak St. Petersburg before earning his NBA breakthrough with Houston, where he played from 2013 to 2017.
He later spent four seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, earning All-Defensive Team honors in his first year with the franchise.
Beverley went on to play for Minnesota, the Lakers, Chicago, Philadelphia, and most recently Milwaukee, whom he joined in February 2024.
Over the course of his NBA career, Beverley appeared in 666 regular-season games, averaging 8.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per contest.
