Paul George is already embracing the next chapter of his NBA career with the Boston Celtics.
During his first visit to the Celtics' practice facility, George expressed his excitement about joining the franchise and promised to give everything he has while representing Boston.
"I'm gonna give y'all everything," George said. "It's surreal. I'm ecstatic. I'm looking forward to the journey. I'm looking forward to wearing that green and representing for Boston."
The comments offer an early glimpse into George's mindset as he prepares for his first season with one of the NBA's most historic franchises.

George arrives in Boston as one of the most accomplished players of his generation, bringing extensive playoff experience and another proven two-way option to the Celtics.
For George, the opportunity now represents another chance to compete at the highest level late in his career.
His first message from inside the Celtics' facility was also a direct one to the fanbase: he plans to fully embrace Boston and everything that comes with wearing the Celtics uniform.
George now begins another chapter of a decorated NBA career that has included stops with the Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers.

The 36-year-old is a nine-time All-Star, six-time All-NBA selection and four-time All-Defensive Team member. His peak included a third-place finish in MVP voting during the 2018-19 season, while he has established himself as one of the most accomplished two-way wings of his generation.

His final season in Philadelphia was interrupted by injuries and a 25-game suspension for violating the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. George appeared in 37 regular-season games, averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.7 steals while shooting 39.2% from three-point range.
Despite the difficult season, George finished the campaign with a stronger stretch and helped Philadelphia reach the Eastern Conference semifinals before the 76ers were eliminated by the New York Knicks.
His time in Philadelphia ended with one of the biggest trades of the offseason. Boston sent Jaylen Brown to the 76ers in exchange for George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, ending Brown's decade-long Celtics tenure while bringing George to Boston.
George now joins Jayson Tatum and the Celtics hoping his experience, shooting and defensive versatility can help Boston remain among the Eastern Conference contenders.
