Here’s a quick recap of the summer that Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns have had so far: Towns, the New York Knicks’ superstar center affectionately known as “KAT,” won the 2026 NBA Championship; Woods snagged a spot at the Guggenheim for the $125 faux-ostrich bag that she wore to every NBA playoff game the Knicks won this season; and over the weekend, the couple got married, proclaiming their vows with such VIPs as Kylie Jenner, Hailey and Justin Bieber, and half the Knicks’ roster in attendance.
The ceremony took place at a private oceanside residence in Malibu, California, on Saturday, August 15. Woods wore a strapless silk-wool gown with a draped bodice, full ball skirt, and a Chantilly lace neck wrap, custom-made by designer Danielle Frankel. “This is better than what I thought my dream wedding dress would be,” Woods told Vogue about the look that will now live immortally on countless “bride-spo” Pinterest boards. The groom was “in this thing called the NBA Finals” and “didn’t have time to design his look,” as Woods explained, so she took matters into her own hands. The model and entrepreneur sent a swatch of her gown’s ivory silk to Ralph Lauren with the instruction to make Towns’s custom tuxedo coordinate.
“Page Six” confirmed the event featured a black-tie dress code. Some celebrity guests interpreted that as “traditionally formal,” others as “it’s your wedding, but it’s my runway.” Jenner, Woods’s ex-bestie turned bestie once again, wore a black halter dress with swooping side cutouts, two crystal belts, and a thigh-high leg slit. (Certainly a choice for your on-again, off-again friend’s wedding!) Timothée Chalamet, Jenner’s plus-one, chose a blue checked button-down, black pants, and a leather jacket. (A regular tux would be too basic for the Lisan al-Gaib.) Hailey opted for a black Versace gown with asymmetrical shoulder straps and a jewel-encrusted bust, while Justin wore a plain black suit. (The couple seemingly remains committed to dressing in opposite vibes.)

The A-list, Mad Libs guest list continues. Towns’s teammates, including Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart, were all in attendance, swapping their uniforms for much more traditional — if less exciting — black-tie suits and bow ties. (It’s worth noting that Brunson wore his suit with patent-leather dress shoes and no-show socks, which counts for something, I guess.) Still, others took more risks: Love Island USA alum Leah Kateb wore a nude-illusion black lace dress, while Olandria Carthen opted for a black cone bra and corseted gown and sat beside her ex Nic Vansteenberghe. However, the fashion highlight of the evening might have been the party favors: “Page Six” reported guests left the venue wearing “Married in 5” hoodies. Go Knicks, baby!
