Fulham have teamed up withFantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.
Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
Fulham finished pre-season on a high, securing a 1-0 home win over VfB Stuttgart thanks to Timothy Castagne’s (£4.5m) header.
It marked the third successive match featuring a goal-scoring full-back, after Ryan Sessegnon (£4.5m) and Antonee Robinson (£4.5m) found the net in previous outings against Málaga and Crystal Palace.
Castagne also has two pre-season assists to his name, illustrating the admitted importance of full-backs to the new Head Coach's style of play. All three are currently differentials in FPL, with ownerships under 10%.
Another stand-out performer in Fulham’s 2026/27 preparations has been Alex Iwobi (£5.5m). Having finished last term as the Club’s highest scoring attacker in FPL, the Nigeria international has delivered two goals and two assists in pre-season, his latest such return coming from the set piece that supplied Castagne’s goal against Stuttgart.

Up front, new signing Gonzalo García (£6.0m) has started in each of the last three pre-season matches, and is a player readily familiar with his manager after playing under him at former club Real Madrid. Gonzalo looks like a great differential option for FPL managers to invest in.
Whilst Joachim Andersen (£5.0m) is suspended for Gameweek 1, he and fellow centre-back Calvin Bassey (£4.5m) look like fantastic routes to defensive contribution points for managers this season.
Gameweek 1 opponents
Chelsea, Fulham’s opposition at Craven Cottage in Gameweek 1, only finished above the Whites on goal difference last season, with both teams level on 52 points.
That’s despite Blues top-scorer João Pedro (£7.5m) finishing with 15 Premier League goals, nine assists and 177 FPL points.
Popular FPL players in 2026/27
Manchester City frontman Erling Haaland (£15.5m) is the most owned player in FPL ahead of the Gameweek 1 deadline.
Despite a hefty starting price hike, Haaland is owned by more than 70% of FPL squads. Cheaper popular forwards ahead of Gameweek 1 include Leeds’ Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0m) and Sunderland’s Brian Brobbey (£6.0m).

Elsewhere, Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m) is currently the most popular FPL midfielder. He is followed in that regard by his teammate Bryan Mbeumo (£8.0m), Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai (£7.0m) and Manchester City’s Antoine Semenyo (£8.5m). More affordable options, meanwhile, include Sunderland’s Enzo Le Fee (£6.0m), Brighton’s Pascal Groß (£5.5m) and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye (£6.0m), all of whom could be on spot-kick duty this season.
Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes (£8.0m) remains FPL’s most popular defender despite his lofty price tag, with teammate Riccardo Calafiori (£5.5m) not far behind.
Man Utd’s Luke Shaw (£4.5m), Tottenham’s Pedro Porro (£5.5m) plus Man City duo Nico O’Reilly (£6.5m) and Marc Guehi (£6.0m) are the other defenders owned by over 20% of all FPL managers, while the game’s most popular goalkeepers include Arsenal’s David Raya (£6.0m), Spurs’ Antonin Kinsky (£4.5m) and Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m).
