Serie A side Lecce could be nearing the sale of another talent in Tiago Gabriel, who impressed in the 2025/26 campaign. Now, Jorge Mendes is attempting to find a new club, with Crystal Palace in the race for him.
CalcioLecce report that Benfica are also keen on the player but it is the Eagles who have had a €20 million offer rejected earlier this summer.
This has led to his agent Mendes looking around the market for more options. Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Portuguese has offered Milan the chance to sign the young centre-back.
This is not the first time the Rossoneri have been given the opportunity to land him, as they are quite close to the super-agent. Today, Mendes arrived in Milan to finalise a deal for Diego Moreira and during that process, it is likely Milan were made aware of Gabriel’s availability.
The talent is on the Rossoneri shortlist and initial contact has been made with Lecce, but it remains to be seen if Milan make a formal offer or not.
