Crystal Palace Star Man Attracts Champions League Interest
According to reports, Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr has attracted an official bid from Galatasaray. Crystal Palace are said to be desperate to keep the winger who scored 21 goals in all competitions last season.
Sarr was a key part of Palace’s success last season and ended up winning the UEFA Conference League golden boot as the club won their maiden European trophy.
Ismaila Sarr to Galatasaray?
The Senegalese international has enjoyed an excellent two years with Palace since joining in the Summer of 2024 and was a key part of the Eagles’ recent European success. Galatasaray’s interest will leave them with a difficult decision if the Turkish champions return with an improved offer for the winger.

After Galatasaray’s league title last season, it would allow Sarr to compete in the Champions League for the first time in his career, which could prove an attractive proposition. Palace are unlikely to want to lose one of their key players, however and would need a higher bid, with the Eagles preparing for another demanding season both domestically and in Europe.
Sarr’s Time at Crystal Palace
Sarr was signed by the Eagles in August 2024 and enjoyed a superb first season with Palace, which included helping the South London side to their first-ever major trophy. The winger scored twice in the semi-final of the FA Cup as they put aside Aston Villa and then played the full game when they edged out Manchester City in the final.
He started the 2026/27 term as he finished the previous campaign, scoring during the match and converting in the shootout as Crystal Palace secured their first-ever Community Shield against Liverpool at Wembley.
The 28-year-old continued his form into this summer’s World Cup, in which he scored four goals in five games including a double against Norway.
Pierre Sage Adds to His Attacking Ranks
Crystal Palace have been quick to add to their attacking options over the summer and have brought in some new talent ahead of a maiden Europa League campaign. New Palace manager Pierre Sage has brought in both Anan Khalaili from Union Saint-Gilloise and young MLS prospect Zavier Gozo.
Dwight McNeil and Brennan Johnson completed a swap deal, with both expected to make their debut against their old clubs on the weekend.
