Daniel Farke will sit down with the media shortly to look ahead to Saturday's opening Premier League fixture away at Nottingham Forest.

Leeds have prepared for the season well, bringing in four new players of which three are expected to start. The fourth, Nico Elvedi, arrived on Wednesday and could be in the squad. Leeds are set to do more business in the final knockings of the window.

The Whites will face a team looking for a new manager bounce with Oliver Glasner how at the helm, as supporters at the City Ground wait with excited and bated breath.

Leeds have a number of injury concerns, including Wilfried Gnonto and Gabriel Gudmundsson. Gnonto is a doubt for the game with a hamstring issue while Gudmundsson's own leg muscle problem is expected to rule him out of this weekend's match and possibly next week's too.

So here we are, the first pre-match press conference of the 2026/27 season. Just what will this next year hold?

Few could have imagined a 14th place finish and an FA Cup semi-final journey at this time last year. Of course, Leeds will not be getting carried away with this.

The feeling inside the club is one of stability; survival is still a good achievement this time around. But of course, Leeds will wish to kick on and push updwards. Europe may be a step too far but a top 10 finish is possible.

The club have brought in four new signings so far with Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic and James Trafford all set for their full competitive debuts.

As for the fourth signing...
