Régis Le Bris has been handed a triple injury boost ahead of Sunderland’s opening Premier League fixture against Ipswich Town.
Right back Thomas Meunier returned to training this week after missing the 2-1 win over Stade Rennais due to a back complaint, but is set to return to the squad at Ipswich Town. Le Bris also confirmed that Omar Alderete and Nordi Mukiele are fit to feature, though hinted that the trio may well be unlikely to start.
Mukiele has been absent since the 1-0 win over Wrexham, while Alderete has not featured in pre-season due to a knee issue.
“Yes, all of our players are available, except Simon,” Le Bris said.
“We'll see for the game time against Ipswich because they are not all at the same stage fitness level wise, but they are available.”
Le Bris confirmed that he expects Adingra to be absent for another few weeks, after suffering an ankle injury in that Wrexham game around a fortnight ago.

“It's a more or less six-week injury,” Le Bris said.
“So we know this injury. It's a relatively common ankle injury, but we know from the beginning that the diagnosis told us it's around six weeks. So we are in the middle of those six weeks.”
The Sunderland head coach says he wasn’t at this stage sure whether the injury would hamper the winger’s chances of moving in search of regular game time before the transfer deadline closes on September 1st.
