HSV have now signed the Belgian defender on a season-long loan with an option to buy. Elvedi’s arrival opened the door for the 27-year old to complete his move to Germany.

The club have now added key additions to the spine of the team.

James Trafford is the new number one, and Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi bolster the backline. Harry Wilson is also a fantastic addition to the frontline.

Leeds United agree transfer deal

Trafford arriving meant Leeds United had to sanction a move for Lucas Perri.

The Italian keeper was benched during last season and lost his place under Daniel Farke. So the 49ers have been in the market trying to find a backup goalkeeper for their latest signing.

According to The Athletic, Leeds have now found one.

Beren Cross reports that the Whites have agreed a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt keeper Michael Zetterer.
