Onze Mondial: Aston Villa and Dortmund emerge as Milan open to Nkunku loan departure

Nkunku Villa Dortmund

Christopher Nkunku has interest from across Europe and it means that AC Milan should be able to find a new home for the attacker.

When Nkunku was included on the list of welcome outgoings, there was a bit of shock. The former Chelsea man had featured regularly in pre-season and seemed perfect for Ruben Amorim’s system, sitting behind the striker.

However, other options are clearly preferred by the Portuguese, with Alphadjo Cisse’s stock increasing significantly this summer. So, he may only be an expensive back-up for Milan this season.

More interest in Nkunku

According to the Parisian news outlet Onze Mondial, via Tribal Football, Nkunku has interest from Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund, too. Indeed, there is plenty of interest in the French attacker and these are the latest two to join the race.

After losing Morgan Rogers earlier this summer, the Frenchman could head back to the Premier League in a bid to replace his impact. Alternatively, another route back to Germany may be preferred, considering it’s where he played his best football.

What is also worth noting is that the Diavolo are reportedly ‘open to a loan departure’. Of course, reports have already suggested it’s about space rather than funds this summer, though, a fee would be ideal.
