Jose Mourinho’s arrival has changed a lot of aspects internally for Real Madrid, right from the training schedules to the sporting dynamics.
The manager has brought in several players whom he sees fit for his style of play, and is set to kick off his first season back at Real Madrid later today.
Alongside the personnel and tactical changes around his arrival, however, the Real Madrid manager has also brought in a completely new management team of trusted aides.
One among the many new faces he has brought in is Sami Khedira, one of Real Madrid’s all-time greats. He was initially thought to be a link between the dressing room and the manager, but his role is unfolding to be something much more in recent days.
Needless to say, he has even shown his excitement about the new role on multiple occasions, for returning to Real Madrid in any capacity is always a massive opportunity.

Recently, the club legend took to his X account to share glimpses of himself at work. He once again put into perspective how much he enjoys his current role as made clear by his caption.
“First weeks in, and ready for everything that’s ahead,” the former player wrote, looking forward to everything that lies ahead.
After all, it is a rather surprising career change for Khedira who was initially into punditry after his retirement from professional football. Now, he has returned to the football field, albeit on the sidelines, and is beginning a new adventure with Real Madrid.
Already a key figure
As reported recently, Khedira’s integration into Real Madrid’s coaching staff and role has been wonderful so far and he has already been influential on the team.

In the team’s recent pre-season friendlies, the former player has played a crucial part as part of the management team and was even seen commanding and overseeing important warm-up segments.
Many voices from inside the club even reveal that Khedira has changed a lot from his time as a player, now taking up a more vocal and commanding role in organising players.
Endrick of Real Madrid and Brazil

Endrick is back in Madrid for the new season and already working hard to impress Jose Mourinho in his early days at the club.
A fitness setback has forced him to miss out on Real Madrid’s season opener later today, but it is clear that Jose Mourinho counts on the player after the management and administration jointly decided that the player must stay.
Liverpool, however, made a notable attempt to lure the player away from the Spanish giants earlier this week. As reported, their effort was futile and Fabrizio Romano now reveals more details on what the Merseyside club had in mind.
A desperate attempt
Indeed, as reported by the Italian journalist, Liverpool did indeed make direct contact with Real Madrid for the young Brazilian’s transfer and they did not have any hard and fast demands.

They wanted to see if there was any possibility at all for Los Blancos to open up to transferring the player, primarily as a loan with an option to purchase at the end of the season.
Concurrently, they were also willing to go for a direct permanent transfer with a massive proposal and fee.
For Real Madrid and Endrick, however, neither option was seen as feasible and Florentino Perez and Jose Mourinho both slammed the door shut.
A crucial six months
As matters stand, there is nothing that can make Endrick leave Real Madrid this summer for the player has made up his mind on staying and making it big at the club of his dreams.

What the youngster is not happy about, however, is the club signing Carlos Espi after Gonzalo Garcia, for he saw it as a sign that Real Madrid do not trust him.
Word has it that the player is currently determined to stay and fight for a spot, but that hr will review his situation in January.
If his minutes are not where he expects, there is every chance he may push for a loan departure midway through the season.
Everything will come down to where Mourinho places the striker on his pecking order and the importance the player enjoys, at least as an option off the bench.
