HIBERNIAN FC Women head coach Joelle Murray is excited to announce the signing of Newcastle United midfielder Jasmine McQuade on loan subject to SFA approval and international clearance.
The 23-year-old joins Hibs on a season-long loan deal from for the 2026/27 campaign.
McQuade played an integral role in the Magpies’ promotion to Women’s Super League 2 in 2024, scoring nine goals en route to National League Premier Division North title success.
Over the past two seasons, the technically gifted central midfielder has made 40 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle United, netting five times and providing three assists.
Holding dual nationality, Hibs latest recruit has represented both England and Scotland at U23 level.
McQuade will wear the number 10 for the Hibees.
McQuade said: “I’m really excited to be here at Hibs. The opportunity to come here came out of the blue but I knew right away it sounded like a great move.
“I always knew I would make the move to Scotland at some point in my career and Hibs is the perfect club for me to join.”
