Real Madrid faced off against Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos made a quick start to the game and scored the opener in the ninth-minute thanks to Jude Bellingham’s effort. However, Alex Calatrava equalised for the home team in the 30th minute as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Carlos Espi ended up scoring the winning goal for Real Madrid in the 90th minute as Jose Mourinho’s men earned a narrow 2-1 win away from home.

**LB: Alvaro Carreras – 6.5/10**
He had a lively game going forward, but was replaced after the hour mark.
**RW: Arda Guler – 8/10**
Guler engineered a lot of decent chances for his teammates to score and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

Silva worked hard defensively and managed to shine at times inside the opponent’s half.
