Liverpool's Premier League campaign is finally underway, with Andoni Iraola's side travelling to Newcastle in the opening match of the new season.
It was a topsy-turvy, end-to-end encounter, where the Magpies led twice through Yoane Wissa and Joe Willock, before being pulled back twice by goals from Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai.
There are clearly some issues for Andoni Iraola to work through, but a point gives his side a base to work from, ahead of the next encounter, against Nottingham Forest at home.
Some concerns surround the fitness levels within the team, which isn't helped by the lack of depth in some areas, with injuries impacting a few key areas.
So, with that said, here's a look at the latest Liverpool injury news and potential return dates.
Federico Chiesa

Federico Chiesa was missing from Liverpool's roster to face off with Newcastle at the weekend, amid rumors over his future at the club in the final week of the summer transfer window.
The concern surrounded a fitness issue that the forward has been managing, with Iraola not giving an update on the star's condition after the game.
As it stands, it's believed to be a minor concern, which could see him back in action to take on Nottingham Forest in the next clash.
Predicted return date: Nottingham Forest (H) - August 29.
Joe Gomez
Considering the concerns over depth in the backline, an early injury to Joe Gomez in preseason was the last thing that Iraola needed to see.
The versatile star picked up a muscular problem, which the manager said he would outline as an absence for "a month", ruling him out of the opening match.
That could, however, see Gomez make a return against Nottingham Forest, though plenty of that will depend on whether he is back in training this week or not.
Predicted return date: Nottingham Forest (H) - August 29.
Giovanni Leoni
Giovanni Leoni is making the long, hard return from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury, which saw him sidelined since his debut in the EFL Cup last season.
The Italian centre-back is nearing the end of that recovery process now, however, as he enters a phase that will now be all about conditioning and strengthening himself to get back on the pitch.
There may be some hope that Leoni will be back in action next month, as he looks to make an impact in his second season.
Predicted return date: September 2026.
Hugo Ekitike

There is a longer wait for Hugo Ekitike to get back on the pitch for Liverpool, after the striker injured his Achilles at the back end of last season.
Progress is being made, as the forward was seen ditching his crutches that were required over most of the summer, but there is still a few months before he is expected to feature again.
Many will be hoping that Ekitike can return before the turn of the new year to make an impact once again.
Predicted return date: December 2026.
Conor Bradley
Right-back Conor Bradley has been out with a serious knee injury, and there is still some way to go before he is expected back on the pitch.
Iraola has claimed it will be "months" until the defender is available, which will truly stress test the options available to the manager at full-back.
Predicted return date: November 2026.
