West Ham United and Wolves also have transfer interest in a star Rangers have looked at this summer.
Rangers face a financial battle to sign one of their summer targets amid West Ham United and Wolves interest, it’s claimed.
Amario Cozier-Duberry is a man in demand after the Brighton winger’s successful loan with Bolton Wanderers last term. He is now back at his parent club in the Premier League but a summer move is likely and Rangers have already had two bids rejected. That has alerted West Ham and Wolves who are both aiming for promotion out of the English Championship this term.
They are also in a better financial position to outbid the Premiership side for Cozier-Duberry, it’s claimed, and that could be key. Rangers remain interested but they could struggle to live with the money on offer down south.

Will Amario Cozier-Duberry join Rangers?
It’s claimed by transfer journalist Pete O’Rourke: “West Ham United are well-placed to beat Rangers to the signing of Amario Cozier-Duberry this month. The 21-year-old has attracted attention from a number of clubs across the Championship, Scotland and other European leagues as he looks likely to leave Brighton this summer.
“Rangers have already seen two offers rejected by the Seagulls, but could now be set to miss out after West Ham and Wolves joined the race for this signature. Rangers will be unable to compete with the likes of West Ham and Wolves for Cozier-Duberry.
“The Championship duo are better-placed financially to match Brighton's lofty asking price, and hold considerable pulling power as they aim for promotion this season. Rangers remain keen to get a deal over the line, but their pursuit is becoming increasingly complicated, with rivals now in position to swoop. West Ham and Wolves are in stronger financial positions to meet Brighton's demands, and having joined Rangers in the race, are now well-placed to agree a deal.”

Ryan Naderi on Jablonec vs Rangers
On the pitch, Rangers have a Conference League play-off second leg versus Czech side Jablonec away from home on Thursday, as they seek progress to the competition’s league phase. They hold a 1-0 lead in the tie thanks to Ryan Naderi’s strike at Ibrox last week and the striker said ahead of the Jablonec rematch: “It was amazing and fun out there. The fans supported us and we are happy with the win. We still have the second leg and we have to keep going.
“When you try to qualify for a European competition it is always against tough opponents. We had to stay focused for the game. We got the goal and we could have scored a few more, but we are happy with the win. I had to just tap in the goal and that’s part of being the striker. I am happy although it is a team effort, but to be the one who puts it in the goal is good. I have scored two goals in two games but I like to support the team and we are heading in the right direction after a tough start. It is about sticking together and staying focused and keep going.”
