Brighton chairman Tony Bloom insists the club will continue to "think differently" as they prepare to lose two more key players.
The Seagulls have made a fine start to the season as a solid 0-0 Uefa Conference League play-off first leg draw in Tromso was swiftly followed by an emphatic opening day 4-0 Premier League win against Aston Villa.
Brighton have lost some key players this summer with the likes of Jan Paul van Hecke, Danny Welbeck, Joel Veltman, Adam Webster and Solly March all leaving.
Carlos Baleba and Yankuba Minteh are also expected exit to Manchester United and Liverpool respectively for a combined figure of around £150m.
Brighton reportedly remain in talks with Manchester United and Liverpool and the deals could be concluded this week.
It's been another busy transfer window for Bloom and Brighton with quite a few incomings as well, including the £50m record signing of centre back Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham. Vuskovic has looked impressive in Brighton’s opening matches.
Bloom: Brighton cannot stand still
Some fans are concerned by the high profile exits but Bloom insists Brighton will invest and innovate.
“We believe there is more to come and we must continue challenging ourselves to improve both on and off the pitch," said the chairman ahead of the Aston Villa match.
“We know there are many clubs with similar ambitions and, in some cases, greater resources.
“That means we cannot afford to stand still. We must continue to evolve, invest and innovate while remaining true to the principles that have brought us this far.
“We have never been afraid to think differently and that mindset will remain crucial as we look to the future.”
