Chelsea rule out Premier League club for Mykhailo Mudryk after second approach

Mykhailo Mudryk looks on

Chelsea have rejected a second offer from Leeds to sign Mykhailo Mudryk, talkSPORT understands.

It is also understood the Blues are no longer considering Leeds as an option for Mudryk, having already turned down their first approach last Friday.

Chelsea won't be short of suitors for Mudryk, though, with multiple clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere in Europe interested in the winger.

talkSPORT understands one of the clubs in the mix for Mudryk is Strasbourg, who are controlled by Chelsea's owners.

Brentford is another who has Mudryk on their radar.

Why did Mykhailo Mudryk's ban get overturned?

Mudryk is eligible to play competitive football once again after his FA doping ban was resolved in July.

The 25-year-old was slapped with a four-year ban in November 2024 after he returned an 'adverse finding' for Meldonium.

However, the ban was overturned due to changes in World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) procedures, which meant the Meldonium found in Mudryk's system 'would not have been reported'.

Mudryk made his return to action for Chelsea in a pre-season friendly against Juventus.
