Matthias Jaissle has insisted there is “no chance” Newcastle United sell Lewis Hall this summer.
As reported by NewcastleWorld, the Magpies have issued a firm not-for-sale stance on the left-back. Toon chiefs are adamant that no further high-profile exits will be sanctioned after losing Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes.
Hall is viewed as an integral player for Jaissle’s rebuild at St James’ Park. He impressed against Liverpool yesterday before a last-minute slip-up, with his outstretched leg fouling Victor Munoz to result in a stoppage-time penalty.
Manchester United pundits, former players and social media commentators have stirred up speculation regarding Hall all summer. However, the message from Newcastle remains consistent that the 21-year-old is off the market.

Speaking post-match, Red Devils legend Schmeichel taunted Jaissle by suggesting his former club are after Hall. The German fired back - giving a robust “no chance” to brutally shut down the noise.

Matthias Jaissle on transfer plans
Jaissle also put the onus on sporting director Ross Wilson to deliver fresh faces in the final week of the transfer window. He added: “I think it will be a stressful period for the sporting director. We have some needs, definitely. Because you ask, I was about to tell you but I (will) keep it a secret. If you are bringing players in, maybe there will also be some players out.”
