A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid finds himself on the radar of Premier League outfit Chelsea heading into the final week of the summer transfer window.
The Blancos star in the sights of those in a position of power at Stamford Bridge? Eduardo Camavinga.
Chelsea are currently readying themselves for a potentially monumental few days on the transfer front. With Manchester City having agreed to sanction Nico González’s move to Newcastle United, the Sky Blues are expected to go all out to secure the services of Enzo Fernández.
In the case of as much coming to fruition, Chelsea would then be forced to dip back into the market for fresh blood in the middle of the park.
And with as much in mind, the aforementioned Camavinga has seen his name come to the fore behind the scenes in West London. As per a report from English transfer insider Ben Jacobs, speaking on talkSPORT on Monday, the board at Stamford Bridge consider the following quartet as potential Enzo replacements:
Adam Wharton
Alex Scott
Manu Koné
Eduardo Camavinga
Real Madrid, for their part, would be expected to open the door to the sale of a long-criticised member of their midfield ranks at the right price.
