**Bournemouth** have signed goalkeeper **Michele Di Gregorio**on a season-long loan move from **Juventus**.
The deal for the _Italian_ includes an option to make it permanent in the summer for £12M plus add-ons; however, if they decide not to trigger the option, a £1.3M loan fee will be applicable for the _Cherries_.
The 29-year-old, who made 37 appearances for **Juventus** last season, provides much-needed competition for **Djordje Petrović** between the posts.

_“I felt the club's desire to have me here, and I felt the ambition that this club has to continue to grow and do great things._

The Italian was made available after **Juventus** signed keeper **Guillermo Vicario** from **Tottenham** on a season-long loan last week.
**Di Gregorio** was awarded the **Serie A** best goalkeeper award in 2024 while at **Monza**, keeping 14 clean sheets.
The goalkeeper started his career at **Inter Milan** before having several loan spells in **Italy** at **Novara, Renate**, **Avellino** and **Monza** before joining **Juventus** in July 2024.
The arrival of **Di Gregorio** will allow **Will Dennis** to leave the club on a permanent deal, having spent last season out on loan in **League 1** at **Leyton Orient.**
**Di Gregorio** will likely be the club’s final signing of the window following the arrivals of **Alvaro Rodriguez, Antonio Silva, and Janulu Sanchez** earlier this summer.
**Bournemouth** host **Everton** at the **Vitality Stadium** on Saturday following their 2-1 opening-day defeat at **Manchester City** on Sunday.
