Serie A side Milan saw a ray of hope when it comes to Rafael Leao’s possible sale, as Aston Villa attempted to make in-roads over a move. But Tottenham could also have a shot at signing the attacker.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that some hours ago, the idea of a move to Aston Villa looked quite concrete.
The Villans were looking to take a chance at a move but due to finances, the idea has gone a bit cold. The player was quite keen on the deal but Unai Emery’s side feel Milan’s financial demands are excessive.
The deal isn’t fully off the table but Tottenham could also enter the picture. They have been proposed a chance to sign Leao again. Jorge Mendes is key to this, as he is attempting to desperately find a new club for the Milan outcast.
So far, only Galatasaray have come close to meeting the finances of the deal. They are happy to offer Leao the wages he wants but are yet to make the right offer to Milan.
