Leeds United take on Nottingham Forest in the League Cup at the City Ground
Haven't we already done this? Well, kind of. Three days ago, Anton Stach sent the away end wild with his 88th-minute free-kick to hand Leeds United their first Premier League win on the opening day.
Back to the City Ground they go, this time for a League Cup tie. The same squad is more or less expected but the starting XI may well be different.
Daniel Farke has said there will be more rotation than would be seen for a midweek league match and so a raft of changes are expected.
Among those is likely to be Nico Elvedi, who arrived from Borussia Monchengladbach as the latest Leeds recruit last week. Meanwhile, a number of youngsters could make the bench as Noah Okafor earns his first start of the season. But will Lucas Perri?

So round two, then. Both against Nottingham Forest and in the League Cup itself. The last trip here a few days ago wasn't so bad was it?
Of course, this game has a different complexion. Both teams will rotate their line-ups and neither team will mind too much if they bow out.
Perhaps the onus is on Forest more. They lost the first game and looked quite disjointed. Another showing may cause more rumblings within the home terraces.
As for Leeds, they have only one League Cup game under Daniel Farke. They have bigger fish to fry but that isn't a fantastic record. Though, really, few will care that much. It can't be as bad as the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday last year...
