There is a week remaining of the transfer window, and still time for Leeds to bring in new players to the club. Daniel Farke's side started the season with three points and three debutants in Tarik Muharemovic, Harry Wilson and James Trafford and perhaps there is room for more.
Leeds United's boss isn't interested in speaking on Mykhailo Mudryk speculation or transfer rumours, but admitted there is a possibility for more incoming action in the coming days. However, he was adamant that any spending must be done responsibly to ensure the club has security.
Speaking ahead of the Carabao Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest, he said: "We've made no secret we want to make the best possible squad and for that to the last second we stay awake.
"We work with limited resources because we want to work sustainably. I'm pretty happy with our business so far, it's not like we’ve spent some other clubs.
"We want to make sure the finances are in the right place, not just for a few months but a few years. We are of course ambitious but it makes sense to do a financial deal... there is a possibility, we would like to add."
Nevertheless, there is transfer speculation to comment on with some movement on players have been linked to this summer. LeedsLive takes a look below...
Paixao split
Igor Paixao has cropped up again and he is proving a decisive figure at Marseille. According to French journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the club's ownership is keen to cash in on the talent they signed 12 months ago amid interest from Leeds.
On the other hand, Marseille coach Bruno Genesio refuses to consider the player's exit. The Ligue 1 side have been under considerable financial pressure this summer leading to some concerns that Paixao could be sold on the cheap.
LeedsLive says: "Paixao is not currently a serious target, though he has not been categorically ruled out. There is no advanced interest in the player, but if a cheap fee floats around then who knows."

Sulc valuation
Earlier this month it was suggested that Pavel Sulc would cost £21million to prise away from Lyon. However, that figure has increased to £35m, per reports.
Juventus are said to have contacted the French club to negotiate for the attacking midfielder. The Italian giants face competition from Everton and Aston Villa, who have also shown interest.
Championship club Wrexham are said to be preparing a record-breaking deal for the 25-year-old, who is under contract until 2029.
LeedsLive says: "Sulc has been on Leeds' radar this summer, though seemingly not as a priority target. The increase in valuation, combined with the competition for his signature, probably makes this a difficult deal to be interested in following Farke's words on finances."
