Town are reported to be among the clubs keen on Burnley striker Zian Flemming.

The Blues are known to want to add an experienced frontman to their ranks prior to the transfer window closing in a week’s time.

Flemming, who missed the Clarets’ 3-1 defeat at West Brom at the weekend due to a calf issue, has been tipped for a move away from Turf Moor all summer following Burnley’s relegation to the Championship with Everton, Lille and Brentford having been linked.

According to _[Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/13574173/premier-league-summer-transfer-window-what-your-club-still-needs-to-do-in-the-week-before-deadline-day?ref=ed_direct)_, the Blues are now among the clubs eyeing the 28-year-old.

Dutchman Flemming joined the Lancastrians in August 2024, initially on loan with the move made permanent for £7 million the following summer.

Last season, Amsterdam-born Flemming netted 12 times in total, 11 in the Premier League, and this term has already bagged three in two matches.

Elsewhere, former Blues striker Liam Delap is closing in on a move to Nottingham Forest from Chelsea with the clubs reported to have agreed a fee of an initial £45 million plus a further £5 million in add-ons.

Town are understood to be due an undisclosed percentage of the profit the Stamford Bridge side make on the £30 million they paid for the frontman last summer. Manchester City, from whom the Blues signed Delap, are in turn due 20 per cent of that sell-on percentage.
