Juventus in contact for Atletico’s Alexander Sorloth and move depends on Nico Gonzalez

Serie A giants Juventus want to sign another striker right after having sealed a move for Randal Kolo Muani. While Joshua Zirkzee’s name has gained traction, Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sorloth is a more likely target.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that initial contact and discussions with Atletico Madrid have already been held for the Norwegian.

Luciano Spalletti is much more keen on his profile than that of Zirkzee’s, as the Dutchman isn’t seen as a pure number nine.

To make sure the deal is easier, Juve have also been trying to offer Nico Gonzalez to Atletico Madrid. He has returned from his loan at the Spanish side and would be interested in a return.

Quotidiano Sportivo report something similar and indicate Gonzalez’s desire to return to Atleti will play a key role.

Los Rojiblancos are keen on signing him too, with work now firmly underway for the clubs to find an agreement soon.
