Ipswich got the better of Leicester in a game that proved a tougher challenge for the Tractor Boys.
_The Foxes_ had the ball for a lot of the first half but were unable to capitalise on their chances, they eventually scored from a corner by the head of Olabade Aluko however they had already conceded after a neat finish from Sindre Walle Egeli
Marcelino Nunez was the one who came to the rescue for Ipswich, scoring the winning goal with a stunning strike from outside the box.
He sealed the game in the final minutes too, scoring another goal for Ipswich.
Ipswich progress through to the next round of the Carabao Cup but first play Manchester United on Sunday, meanwhile Leicester City play MK Dons on Saturday.
Story of the Match

Leicester absolutely dominated the ball in the first 15 minutes, getting a chance to shoot from distance by Watson early on.
Kasey McAteer had the best two chances against his former side, from one cross and one shot in the first 15, however neither amounted to anything for the goalkeeper.
On the stroke of the 20th minute debutant MacFarlane tried to just chip it over Christian Walton after a great through ball from Louis Page, Walton was able to get hands on it though.
Kasey McAteer tried again to score against his former club but Woyo Coulibaly was able to knock it away.
Chuba Akpom was just onside for a great chance through on goal, but Aluko was there to make a great challenge blocking the shot.
First corner of the game came in the 29th minute, for Ipswitch Town. Stolarczyk didn’t know what to do with it however and nearly knocked it into his own goal.
Aluko had to make another tackle on Ouattara in the box, a wall at the heart of the Leicester defence.
From the same run of play though, a corner to Ipswich was awarded, Bistric was forced to clear it away.
Leicester began to be on the backfoot after half an hour, with another corner awarded to Ipswich.
Stolarczyk knocked it away but had to save again following a header from Humphries.
Against the run of play Chaplin was able to get a shot outside the box after a pass from Howell, it went wide though.
The first yellow of the game went to Aluko after just getting too close to his man.
Howell had a great run taking the ball from the half-line cutting inside and driving brilliantly till a shot was deflected, the 18-year-old nearly did it all himself.
Walton held onto the ball for too long, giving a corner to Leicester on the cusp of halftime. Macfarlane was nearly able to put it away jumping high to reach the ball, unfortunately for him he just couldn't direct it downwards, finishing 0-0 after 45 minutes played.
McAteer put the ball into the back of the net right after the restart but it was given as offside.
Humphreys gave away a free kick fouling Brabybrooke just outside the box earning himself a yellow card, the shot went straight into the wall.
Louis Page got the first shot on target for Leicester in the second half, a curling effort that was just deflected away.
Ipswich controlled a lot more of the ball in the opening minutes of the second half.
Bristric and Chaplin came off with Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Liam Cullen.
Jack Clarke and Sindre Walle Egeli combined Clarke breaking it through and squaring it to a completely open Egeli who’s able to place it into the bottom corner in the 63rd minute.
Abdoul Ouattara off for Leif Davis to try and secure the defense.
Leicester not to be pegged back for long though, in just the 67th minute Aluko headed the ball from a corner into the net equalising just minutes after, a first career goal for the defender.
Page shown a yellow for holding Jack Clarke.
Ipswich not to be outdone though another goal within ten minutes, Marcelino Nunez striking the ball into the bottom corner from outside the box, keeper is left with no chance 2-1.
Coulibaly and Aluko came off for Wes Burns and Jayden Joseph as Russel Martin looked to be more attacking.
Kasey McAteer and Jack Clarke come off for Ipswich along with Harry Howell for Leicester in the 80th minute Mendel-Idowu and Maeda on for Ipswich and Will Alves on for Leicester.
Akpom has a brilliant chance in the final minutes being one on with the keeper to seal the game but Stolarczyk was able to get a hand to it and send it wide.
Nunez was able to put the game to bed though, a lob over the keeper to make it 3-0.

The former Norwich man turned Ipswich was the all important difference in this relatively close tie.
He scored both the winner as well as a goal to put the game firmly into the Tractor Boy's hands.
On a day where both sides had there fair chances, Nunez was the difference maker.
