Franck Kessie wants to move to Juventus, and that is one of the reasons he remains without a club as the new season starts, with the midfielder yet to agree to join another team.
He and Juventus have held talks before, and he gave them his word, as the Bianconeri need to make some sales before they can make him an offer during this transfer window.
Juventus see Kessie as the player who can solve an important midfield problem that many people have identified as a limiting factor in their current squad.
He is waiting for them, but failing to make their move in time could prove costly because AS Roma are now pushing to sign him and Kessie could agree to join them.
Roma Push to Sign Kessie
Kessie worked with Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta, and the manager is one of the most important coaches in his career, so the two could now agree to a reunion.
As Juventus delay, Tuttomercatoweb reports that Roma are now pushing to land Kessie and have been in talks to convince the Ivorian midfielder to join them.
The interest from Roma gives Kessie another option at a time when he is still waiting for Juventus to make their move. The midfielder must now decide whether to continue waiting for the Bianconeri or consider an offer from another club.

Juventus Risk Losing Target
Juventus now hope that Kessie will turn Roma down while they wait to create more space in their budget and make room for his salary when he joins them.
The Bianconeri remain interested in adding him to their midfield, but their need to sell players before making an offer could allow Roma to move ahead of them.
Kessie has already shown that Juventus is his preferred destination, but his patience could be tested as the new season gets underway. If Roma continue pushing and present him with an opportunity to join Gasperini again, Juventus may find it increasingly difficult to keep their target waiting.
For now, the midfielder remains without a club, but Juventus cannot afford to delay their decision for too long if they want to secure his signature.
