Tromso’s top scorer says “aggressive” Albion pose a physical test to the Norwegian high-flyers.
But he is convinced they can learn from the first leg.
Heine Asen Larsen was among the Tromso players looking to get in behind the high defensive line as his side sat deep and hit on the counter.
There could be a similar tale in the second leg of the Conference League play-off as the sides kick off still goalless.
Asen Larsen told The Argus: “We felt like we had a lot of possibilities that we have to take care of.
“I think they're a very aggressive team and we felt that.
“I think there's possibilities to counter and also to create on them.”
Tromso are a physically strong and robust side.
But Asen Larsen said the Seagulls were also a handful in that aspect.
He added: “Of course they are used to a very high tempo. They play in the best league in the world.
“I think we felt that, especially in the first half, and they are a good team.
“They want to dominate the game so they want thew ball all the time and when they lose it, they try to win it back.
“So they take the step and they and you feel like they are very aggressive.

“If we are good on the ball, because they are very good in the press, then I think there's possibilities to expose that.”

Asen Larsen said: “I’m not the biggest Premier League watcher because it's a lot of football and I usually watch the Norwegian League and sometimes the Champions League but of course I've been watching the Premier League since I was a young kid.
“Probably I would say Manchester United have been my favourite team.”
