London – Saba:Crystal Palace announced on Wednesday the signing of French defender Axel Disasi on a one-year loan from Chelsea, as part of the club's preparations to strengthen its squad for the new season.The 28-year-old Frenchman has considerable experience in the English Premier League, having joined Chelsea from Monaco in 2013. He made 58 appearances for the London club across all competitions, in addition to five caps for the French national team.Disasi boasts an impressive record of over 300 club appearances, including 22 in the Champions League. He previously had loan spells at Aston Villa and West Ham United before embarking on his new adventure with Crystal Palace.Crystal Palace hopes to utilize Disasi's experience and defensive capabilities to bolster their backline for the upcoming season.
