The Carabao Cup third round draw takes place on Wednesday with Aston Villa and Wolves awaiting their opponents in the next round.

Villa enter automatically at the third round stage due to their fourth-place finish in the Premier League last season. They will first find out whether they are home or away in the third round due to the pre-draw for teams involved in Europe this season.
The full draw is expected to be made around 10.15pm after Preston North End's clash with Everton, but there is also set to be a pre-draw, set to take place at 7.20 - more details on that below.
Aston Villa will be ball number three, while Wolves and West Brom will be 26 and 28, respectively. Birmingham bowed out of the competition after a 6-1 defeat on Tuesday to Brentford at St Andrews.
