Thibaut Courtois — 7: Only had to make two saves. As was the case against Espanyol, Courtois wasn’t at fault for the goal conceded, with the defense letting him down.
Denzel Dumfries — 6: Lacked focus on the ball, particularly with his passing down the flank. Made some good overloads, but the final ball was lacking. Konaté covered well for him on multiple occasions.
Ibrahima Konaté — 8: Continues his strong start defensively. Covered plenty of ground, was difficult to muscle off the ball, and repeatedly cleaned up situations when teammates were caught further forward.
Dean Huijsen — 8: Finished the night with an impressive 11 clearances while also providing some crisp progressive passing from the back.
Alvaro Carreras — 5.5: Had some good moments offensively, but two poor passes killed promising Real Madrid attacks. His biggest mistake came defensively, picking up the wrong man in the buildup to Luka Sučić‘s equalizer.
Fede Valverde — 8: A strong performance defensively while still making a decisive contribution going forward. Provided the vital assist for Kylian Mbappé‘s goal to restore Real Madrid’s lead.
Bernardo Silva — 7: Some will see this as a quiet performance, but Bernardo did plenty of important work away from the spotlight. Led the team with four tackles and three interceptions, ran himself into the ground, and provided his usual neat touches in possession.
Arda Güler — 8: Unlucky not to finish with at least one assist after repeatedly slicing open Sociedad’s defense with crisp through balls. Led Real Madrid with five key passes and helped control possession in the final third.
Jude Bellingham — 9: A classic Jude masterclass. Two assists, four key passes, and three completed dribbles. At times, his close control and manipulation of the ball in and around the box looked Zidane-esque.
Vinicius Jr — 7.5: Endured a rough first half but responded brilliantly after the break. Finished with a goal and produced a superb assist for Mbappé.
Kylian Mbappé — 10: A hat-trick. Unbelievable.
Substitutes
Marc Cucurella — 7: Fought for everything and remained completely focused on his defensive assignments, while occasionally providing an overload going forward.
Eduardo Camavinga — 6.5: Good distribution after coming off the bench and helped Real Madrid maintain control.
Brahim Díaz — 7: A lively cameo. Found the back of the net, although the goal was later disallowed.
Carlos Espí — N/A: Not enough time to warrant a rating.
Yan Diomande — N/A: Not enough time to warrant a rating, although he did bring the Bernabéu to its feet with an incredible stepover to beat his defender.
