The Hammers have already signed Joel Piroe this summer and brought Manor Solomon back to English football following his successful spell at Elland Road.
Now another member of Leeds' 2024/2025 Championship-winning attack has emerged as a target.
According to Spanish journalist Nacho Sanchis, West Ham are interested in signing Largie Ramazani and are prepared to meet Leeds' demand for a permanent transfer.
The asking price is reportedly just €4m (£3.4m) plus a sell-on clause. Burnley and an unnamed Italian club are also interested.
Nuno Espirito Santo needs players capable of helping the Hammers get straight back into the Premier League.
Ramazani already has experience of doing that with Leeds.
The Belgian joined Leeds from Almeria in August 2024 and went on to make 29 Championship appearances during their title-winning campaign, scoring six league goals and providing two assists.
He scored seven times in all competitions despite starting relatively infrequently, with Leeds eventually finishing on 100 points and winning the Championship title.
And two of the players he achieved that with are now at West Ham.
Piroe scored 19 Championship goals that season, while Solomon scored 10 and provided 14 assists.
Nuno could now reunite a significant part of the attack that fired Leeds out of this division only 16 months ago.
Ramazani can operate from either wing or centrally and has always been known for his pace and directness.
When Valencia signed him on loan last summer, they highlighted his speed, unpredictability and verticality, describing him as someone capable of accelerating attacks and creating danger from several different positions.
Ramazani gave a similarly straightforward description of himself after joining Leeds.
He said: "I bring a little bit of that different flair and different type of skills. I think I can excite the fans and bring something different to the team."
Solomon has strengthened Nuno's options from the left and Jarrod Bowen remains the obvious first choice on the opposite flank.
But there is still a lack of natural depth behind them.
Ramazani would provide cover on both sides while also giving Nuno another player capable of carrying the ball at defenders and stretching teams with pace.
At 25, he should also be entering the best years of his career.
Ramazani returned to Spain on loan with Valencia last year and scored six La Liga goals in 27 appearances, despite only starting 11 matches.
West Ham would therefore be signing someone with experience in La Liga, the Championship and Spanish second-tier football.
He also came through the academies at Anderlecht, Charlton Athletic and Manchester United before establishing himself at Almeria.
The only real complication appears to be the player's preference.
Sanchis reports that Ramazani is waiting to see whether Valencia can bring him back permanently.
The Spanish club have been pushing for another loan all summer, but Leeds are refusing to sanction anything other than a sale.
Ramazani signed a four-year contract when he arrived in 2024, meaning he now has less than two years remaining on his deal.
Another loan would leave them trying to sell a player with only 12 months remaining next summer, so it's no surprise they're only willing to listen to permanent offers.
West Ham would still have to convince the Belgian that London Stadium represents a better option than returning to Valencia.
But if Leeds really are happy to sell for around £3.4m plus a future sell-on clause, this looks like another opportunity well worth exploring.
Nuno could add pace and versatility to his attack while reuniting three members of a forward line that scored 35 goals between them the last time they played together in the Championship.
