The Champions League draw is today
It's Champions League draw day!
Manchester United and Manchester City are eagerly awaiting news of who they will face in the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League. United are back at Europe's top table for the first time since the 2023/24 season, while City will be looking to put a couple of disappointing European campaigns behind them and reclaim the crown they won in 2023.
Enzo Maresca's Blues will be in Pot 1 for today's draw, with Michael Carrick's United in Pot 2. In terms of the other English sides in this season's competition, Liverpool and Arsenal join City in Pot 1, while Aston Villa join United in Pot 2.
Each team will be paired with two teams from Pots 1 to 4 to make up their eight league phase matches. Four are played at home and four are played away, and English sides cannot be paired with other English sides.
